Proximal Pulmonary Artery Stiffening as a Biomarker of Cardiopulmonary Aging

To investigate cellular and molecular mechanisms associated with the age-related remodeling observed in the proximal pulmonary artery, we analyzed transcriptomic changes of resident pulmonary arterial cells. Proximal pulmonary arteries were excised from young and aged mice and analyzed using scRNAseq.
