Dataset for: Stable dust-transporting winds in Central Asia over the last 1.2 Million years

This data set contains: A) Raw anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) data from three loess-palaeosol sections (Kuldara; Khonako-II, Obi Mazar) on the Khovaling Loess Plateau, Tajikistan, Central Asia (AMS_raw_data.zip). B) Data files (AMS result tables, mean tensor data) used for formal analysis presented in the paper, stratigraphic information and custom R functions, as well as a R notebook file to reproduce the analysis (AMS_analysis.zip). C) Data files of weather station data and custom R functions used in the paper, as well as a R notebook file used in the analysis (weather_stations.zip). D) Tables with details about samples (Tab_S1), results of statistical filtering of AMS fabrics (Tab_S2) and mean tensors (Tab_S3, Tab_S4).
