This dataset provides R code and example data to run a pre-trained RandomForest classifer on drone-derived RGB orthomosaics. The classified output is crown fractional cover by bare branches, young light-green leaves, and mature to old dark-green leaves. The code runs a radiometric normalization of a user's input RGB orthomosaic to our reference mosaic, thus dispensing onerous training and validation steps. User input can be from any evergreen Central Amazon forest, but should be ~2cm spatial resolution. The README pdf provides step-by-step guidance on data organization and script execution. Further results and classifier accuracies are described in Simonetti et al. 2026 Remote Sensing of Environment.
