Field Training with Plants-Woodlot Dataset 4

Samples were taken from a woodlot at York University's Keele campus. The woodlot was not very dense, however there were a wide variety of trees. Different species of trees were identified. In total 10 samples were taken, composed of mature trees and saplings of the same species. Diameter at breast height was measured for each sample. As well as the canopy coverage, which was measured as high for full coverage and low for less coverage. The distance of the saplings with respect to their mature counterparts were measured, using transect measuring tapes, for each set of trees. Data was collected on September 21, 2016 the weather was 27°C and sunny.
