Global adult smokers who thought e-cigarettes were just as bad as regular as of 2019

This statistic displays the percentage of adult smokers in select countries worldwide who believed that e-cigarettes and vaping devices were equally or more harmful than smoking regular cigarettes as of 2019. According to the data, among respondents in India, 58 percent believed e-cigarettes were equally or more harmful than regular cigarettes. Comparatively, just 39 percent of respondents in Japan had the same opinion.
