Postural muscle activity during voluntary shoulder flexion.

This study had two aims: 1) to compare the EMG activity of trunk muscles during unilateral and bilateral shoulder flexion in different conditions: low speed, fast speed, dumbbell resistance, elastic resistance; 2) to analyze the postural activity in these experimental conditions using two EMG processing methods: integration normalized by baseline activity and RMS normalized by MVIC.
