Are relict trees more effective in hosting coleopteran richness and abundance? Insights from the Hyrcanian Forest

This file contains information about the Coleoptera of the central range of the Hyrcanian forests. We collected beetles from 48 plots with radius 20m and from the habitats of four tree species: hornbeam, beech, Caucasian-Wingnut, and Ironwood from June to September 2023. The environmental variables of each plot are available in the file.Sheet 1 contains general information for each plot, including plot number, grid number, tree type, protection status, coordinates, and relict status. Additionally, Sheet 1 includes information on environmental variables and diversity indices for each plot.Sheet 2 contains the species present and their respective numbers in each plot.ا
