China company registration and record-change datasets: 264 MIIT "Little Giant" manufacturers, queried 8 August 2026

Two aggregate datasets on the public registration records of 264 Chinesespecialist manufacturers. The frame is every company on three officialprovincial-government excerpts (Shandong 136, Anhui 113, Yunnan 15) of the sixth"Little Giant" batch published by China's Ministry of Industry and InformationTechnology. Each company was looked up once through a licensed commercialregistry-data API on 8 August 2026 from a China-side desk — a census of theframe, not a sample. The registration dataset reports import-export scope wording, manufacturingversus trading wording, former legal names, and paid-in versus subscribedcapital. The record-change dataset reports registered-change velocity: lifetimechange counts, share amended within 12 and 24 months, days since the most recentchange, and which fields moved. Aggregate counts and shares only. No per-company records, no company names andno personal names are included; change-entryntainpersonal names, were discarded at collection. Limits that travel with the figures: the frame is a state-vetted list ofspecialist manufacturers and is not representative of Chinese companiesgenerally; three provinces of thirty-one; one query date through one datachannel; per-field 12-month counts are lower bounds computed within eachcompany's twenty most recent change entries; the paid-in-below-subscribed rowhas a denominator of 262, not 264.
