This project aims to assess the ingestion of arthropods by grazing ungulates at the community level using DNA metabarcoding. We collected fecal samples from free-ranging goats and cattle at different time points and locations, and sequenced these samples using primers targeting the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) gene in arthropods.
