To elucidate the mechanism by which sandrice stems regulate body fat and improve blood lipid profiles, this study established a high fat diet induced obese rat model. The rats were subjected to a 10 week intervention with diets containing sandrice flour, sandrice stems, or oat konjac formulation. Microbial diversity analysis was performed to assess changes in gut microbiota structure and function. The results demonstrated that all three interventions significantly altered the gut microbiota composition in obese rats, reducing both diversity and evenness.
