We performed bulk RNA-sequencing analysis of human submandibular gland samples and then compared to expression of multiple human tissues in order to identify a salivary gland gene signature. Bulk RNA-sequencing was performed on 15 human submandibular gland samples. DEG analyses were performed in order to identify genes enriched in the SMG.
