Study Environment for the Beginner Student, 1991

In connection with the wish of the University of Oslo to improve the study environment for the beginner student, was “Utredningsinstituttet for forskning og høyere utdanning” given the assignment to examine what kind of problems the beginner student has and the consequences these problems had for the study. A postal questionnaire was sent out to students enrolled to Ex.phil the autumn 1991 in the University of Oslo. Gross sample 2000, net sample 1321. Questions about services offered by the university, professional challenges, time use, education and work background and background information. Grades from the Ex.phil cource was gathered.
