Site characterization using estimates of vegetative cover at Chandeleur Island, 2015

To characterize plots as marsh only, mangrove only, or mixed, we employed a simple, effective assessment of percent cover. In each 3m*3m plot, we quantified plant species percent cover in three haphazardly selected 0.25m2 quadrats.
