This dataset contains 30-meter spatial resolution Land Surface Temperature (LST) images of the Yangtze River Source Region from 2019 to 2024. Each year includes two LST average datasets: one derived from the summer season (May to September) and another calculated using the full annual time series. As a critical indicator for remotely monitoring surface energy balance and thermal environment conditions, LST can reflect regional surface heat distribution, the impacts of climate change, and their spatiotemporal dynamic characteristics. The original data is sourced from the Landsat 8 and Landsat 9 T1_L2 products (surface reflectance and thermal infrared data) of the United States Geological Survey (USGS). Abnormal pixels were removed via cloud, cloud shadow, and snow masking, and the thermal infrared data were converted to land surface temperature with units of degrees Celsius. Subsequently, annual and summer mean LST images were computed. The final dataset provides two LST average products per year between 2019 and 2024: summer mean and annual mean LST, with a spatial resolution of 30 meters and a coordinate system of WGS84. This dataset primarily supports applications including dynamic monitoring of surface thermal environments, assessment of climate change impacts, analysis of ecosystem heat balance, and research on the response of plateau surface temperatures to meteorological and hydrological factors.
