Purpose: The goal of this study was to identify the differential expressed genes in Drosophila photoreceptors with age or upon blue lgiht exposure. Overall design: Method: RNA extracted from immunoenriched Drosophila photoreceptor nuclei from aged D5, D15 or D30 and D5 3h, D5 5h, or D5 8h blue light exposed flies was used to generate cDNA libraries using Universal Plus™ Total RNA-Seq (Tecan) . Samples were sequenced using the Ilumina HiSeq4000 platform (three biological replicates per age or conditon: D5, D15, D30, D5 3h, D5 5h, D5 8h)
