Data from "Fine-root traits in the global spectrum of plant form and function" (Carmona et al. 2021 Nature)

Data includes the average trait values at the species level for six aboveground traits (Above_traits.txt), four fine-root traits (Root_traits.txt), information on woodiness at the species level (woodiness_1218sp.txt), taxonomical information for the species (Above_taxonomy.txt), information about the biomes in which species are present (biomes_1218sp.txt), and information about the average temperature and precipitation in each biome (Climate_biomes.rds).The R material includes ten scripts to replicate the analyses from the manuscript, a script (00_All analyses.R) that can be executed to perform these analyses in the correct order, and a script with auxiliary functions ("Aux_functions.R").
