Bacterial and fungal communities in root-knot nematode affected peanut field in Florida

The objective of this study is to estimate the bacterial and fungal communities in peanut associated soil with different background in Florida. The soil samples were taken from multiple counties that have different soil type, and a subset samples were from one county with the same soil type but different monoculture and chemical treated background. The DNA from the soil samples were extracted and bacterial 16S V4-V5 and fungal ITS2 were amplified and sequenced on Illumina Miseq platform.
