Intel Fortran/OpenMP/MPI release-notes archival compendium (2005–2025)

A version-pinned archival compendium of Intel compiler and runtime release notes (Intel Fortran, Intel C/C++, OpenMP support, Intel MPI Library, Intel MKL/oneMKL), retrieved from the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, for toolchain-capability provenance and computational reproducibility of legacy scientific software. Why this dataset Vendor documentation is withdrawn after end-of-life: at the time of collection intel.com returned HTTP 403 for the historical release notes, and the primary sources survived only in the web archive. No consolidated, version-pinned record of which Fortran/OpenMP/MPI standard capabilities Intel implemented in which version existed. This dataset closes that gap and supports capability provenance: given the exact toolchain version that produced a result, one can reconstruct the documented capability envelope of that version (what was implemented, what was absent). Contents (pointers-only) The archived snapshots are release notes copyright © Intel Corporation and are not redistributed here. An accompanying Data Descriptor describing the dataset and its provenance methodology is in preparation. Erratum (2026-05) The title year range was corrected from 2003–2025 to 2005–2025. The earliest primary release note in the corpus is Intel Fortran 9.0 (~2005); versions 8.0/8.1 (2003–2004) lie outside the dataset. The data files are unchanged; the README and datapackage.json archived in this version retain the original title string.
