This data set includes all the DIC pictures and machine data about the journal paper 'Void Content and Displacement Ratio Effects on Fatigue  Crack Growth in Thick Adhesively Bonded Composite Joints under Constant Amplitude Loading'. The Python source file is to calculate the crack growth rate: The input csv file should contain first column (number of cycle) and second column (crack length). The output file contains number of cycle, measured crack length, fitted crack length and the crack growth rate. The three zip files are corresponding to the three groups presented in the paper: H01, H05 and V05. Each group contains four/five specimens.  For each specimen, there is a folder with all the DIC pictures and one excel file with raw data, such as the max/min values in one cycle, and the calculated data, such as the crack growth rate and the strain energy release rates. Within each excel file, processed data sheet contains Ncycle (number of cycle), a (crack length), agrowth (crack growth rate), Dmax (max displacement), Lmax (max load), Dmin (min displacement), Lmin (min load), GCBT (strain energy release rate calculated with max values), GCBTmin (strain energy release rate calculated with min values), dGCBT (the difference between GCBT and GCBTmin).  Machine data sheet contains C_1_Load_Min (min load), C_1_Load_Max (max load), C_1_Stroke_Min (min displacement), C_1_Stroke_Max(min displacement), C_1_Cycles (number of cycles).
