We previously reported the effects of S-Nitroso-N-Pivaloyl-D-Penicillamine (SNPiP), a novel NO donor, on cardiac function. This compound releases NO over a longer period compared to traditional NO donors, suggesting its potential use to enhance cardiac function. We conducted a transcriptome analysis of ventricles from wild-type male mice treated with SNPiP to elucidate how SNPiP influences gene expression associated with cardiac functions.
