RNA-Sequencing data from Vestibular Schwannoma samples and Schwann cells RNA

[EN]: Fragments of human vestibular schwannomas (VS) were obtained after surgery at the Hospital Universitario de la Paz, Madrid, Spain. They were stored under specific conditions to obtain RNA. A commercial Schwann cell (SC) RNA was analysed together with these samples. The bioinformatic analysis began by mapping the sequencing reads to a reference transcriptome, then quantifying the expression levels of individual genes, and finally identifying specific genes that were differentially expressed between VS samples and SC.
