We conducted a prospective clinical study to analyze lower respiratory tract microbiota. Deep endotracheal (ET) secretions of Pseudomonas aeruginosa VAP patients were sampled through intubation. Microbiota authenticated by 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing. The associations between microbiota profiles with clinical outcome parameters were evaluated.
