资源简介:

This dataset contains finite-volume-based direct numerical simulation (DNS) of single-phase statistically stationary homogeneous isotropic turbulence (HIT) at Taylor-scale Reynolds numbers of 50, 85, and 121, resolved on a periodic cubic box with a length of L = 2π m, discretized on a 512^3 grid. The box is filled with a fluid with material properties of ρ = 1 kg/m^3, ν = 0.003 m^2/s. The dataset contains 3 velocity vectors at different times per Reynolds number, and a post-processing Python script is provided next to each case to facilitate reading the data and generating different plots of physical quantities such as PDFs of velocity components, energy spectrum, and isotropy coefficients. This work is part of the ERC-funded project (FragTuRe, grant agreement No. 101160908), and part of this data has been used as the reference single-phase case in the following works so far: Saeedipour, M. and Schneiderbauer, S., Enstrophy transport rates determine the Kolmogorov-Hinze scale in turbulent fragmentation of droplets.
