Sharḥ-i-Makhzan-alasrâr (شرح مخزن الاسرار).

A detailed commentary on the مخزن الاسرار, compiled by Muḥammad bin Ḳiwâm bin Rustam bin Aḥmad bin Maḥmûd albalkhî, commonly called Bakra’î (بكرئى, so here on fol. 1a, last line but two, and A. Sprenger, Catal., p. 521), or according to Rieu ii. p. 573b, Karkhî, A.H. 1091 (A.D. 1680), according to the chronogram quoted in A. Sprenger, loc. cit. But Rieu’s copy, which bears a note of purchase from A.H. 1089 (A.D. 1678), proves that somewhat older redactions of this commentary must have been in existence.

Beginning (rather different from that in Sprenger and Rieu): بسم الله الرّحمن الرّحيم بمتابعت پس روان او بر بساط فضل انبساط گستاخى الخ.

This copy is defective at the end, and breaks off in the middle of the داستان بقّال و روباه, which begins on fol. 204a.
