18 species microbial community containing Pseudomonas aeruginosa Raw sequence reads

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is able to gain fitness over other species during its survival in either two-species or three-species co-cultures according to previous research. It has also been reported to be a dominate species in a lot of in vivo infection with other multiple species. In order to discover the rationale behind the dominance of P. aeruginosa in mixed-species microbial communities, we established an artificial 18 species microbial community and characterized the population dynamics and transcriptomic profiles of P. aeruginosa in both planktonic and biofilm modes of growth.
