Study on diversity of environmental microbial biodegradable dye wastewater

Within the process of decolorization and degradation of dyes by microorganisms, different structures of dyes and co-metabolites would generate the differences of decolorization and degradation efficiency of dyes. However, the inter mechanism and comparison in the efficiency differences were lacking of in-depth probe and investigation. In this study, the functional bacterial flora DDMZ1 was utilized to decolorize and degrade five structurally different dyes under four distinct co-metabolism substrates, and the differences in decolorization potency and microbiological mechanism were researched.
