Aerial photographs of the ARCSS grid (1km� study area) in Toolik Lake, Alaska were taken using a camera rig and high altitude kite system. The kite was flown once on July 27th during the summer of 2012 at about 450-500 meters off the ground. Fluctuating winds at about 5-10 mph on the ground.
