WGS of a larvae pool of Ballan wrasse plain phenotype from Galician coast (Spain). FISHADAPT WP4

The bam file contains the alignment of Whole Genome Sequences of hundreds of pooled larvae of ballan wrasse, belonging to 17 nests collected in the Atlantic Sea (Galician Coast, Spain) in 2019. Sequencing was preformed at CNAG (Barcelona, Spain) at May 2024, in 8 FLIs giving a yield of 165.634 Gb of data.After filtering 194.132996 Million reads were obtained with a 97.44% of bases at Q20 and 41% of GC content. Reads were aligned to the Ballan wrasse genome published at https://doi.org/10.1111/mec.17732 using bwa -mem and default options (Li et al. 2009). The results indicated that less than 3% of the alleles that show significant differences between adult populations of plain-phenotype ballan wrasse from Norway and Galicia were present in the Galician larvae pool.
