Multiplex PCR amplicon-based sequencing of sewage SARS-CoV-2. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2

During the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 infection at the end of 2022, six sewage samples were collected from the manhole in the student dormitory area of Wangjiang Campus of Sichuan University. ATOPlex multiplex PCR amplicon sequencing was performed on these sewage samples. Multiplex PCR amplicon sequencing revealed community transmission of SARS-CoV-2 lineages on the campus of Sichuan University during the outbreak of infection in Chinese Mainland at the end of 2022.
