Primary energy consumption in Venezuela 2023, by source

In 2023, fossil fuels were by far the main source of primary energy consumption in Venezuela. Combined, natural gas and oil accounted for more than 75 percent of the total consumption in the country. Meanwhile, hydroelectricity amounted to 0.61 exajoules of Venezuela's primary energy consumption that year.
