The municipal activity statistics aim to obtain annual data relating to the activity of the population residing in the Basque Country detailed at municipal level. Specifically, it provides information on the employed, unemployed and inactive population and characteristics of the labour market such as the economic sector of activity. The realisation of this statistic is based on the treatment and the majority use of administrative sources, without direct collection of information.
