This dataset contains the data, scripts, and figures supporting the study: “Climate Extremes, Water Stress, and Agricultural Vulnerability in the Jordan River Basin: A Risk-Based Socio-Hydrological Assessment”. The repository provides a fully reproducible framework for assessing hydro-climatic stress in the Jordan River Basin using the Compound Hydro-Climatic Stress Index (CHSI), which integrates standardized temperature and precipitation anomalies. The dataset includes:- Baseline CHSI values (2000–2010)- Future climate projections under RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios- Derived tables (extreme year selection, thermal penalty, threshold exceedance, and summary statistics)- High-resolution figures used in the manuscript- Python scripts for data processing, statistical analysis, and figure generation- Spatial datasets for basin boundaries and hydrographic features The repository enables:- Reproduction of all figures presented in the study- Reconstruction of key analytical tables- Transparent evaluation of hydro-climatic stress dynamics under climate change scenarios Climate data are derived from NASA POWER, and spatial datasets are based on publicly available hydrographic sources.
