Phytophthora infestans Transcriptome or Gene expression

In this study we utilized a next-generation transcriptome deep sequencing strategy to identify potentially conserved core RXLR effector genes in P. infestans, primarily based on their (1) conserved sequences among diverse strains, (2) high levels of expression at the early infection stage, and (3) potentially essential functions for pathogenesis.
