Transcriptome of Reprogrammed Trunk Neural Crest

Previous studies have identified a cranial crest-specific subcircuit that can imbue the trunk neural crest with the ability to form cartilage after grafting to the head. We examine transcriptional and cell fate changes that accompany this reprogramming. We employ RNA-seq of FACS-isolated reprogrammed trunk neural crest cells to identify gene expression changes after reprogramming that confer chondrogenic potential.
