This dataset contains 9671 correlated records of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescriptions. Its core contents include the names of basic TCM formulas, the names of Chinese medicinal materials included in the formulas, quantitative dosages of the materials, dosage units (e.g., grams/tablets), efficacy analysis of the prescriptions (prescription commentary), and preparation methods. The dataset is designed to support TCM prescription research, clinical medication dispensing reference, and TCM teaching. It covers 999 basic TCM formulas (e.g., modified Jingfang Dabiao Decoction) and compositional, dosage, efficacy, and preparation data of 1101 types of Chinese medicinal materials, and can meet the needs of TCM research such as prescription structure analysis, dosage and efficacy query for clinicians during medication dispensing, and prescription case explanation in TCM teaching.
