In this study we have analyzed the genomes of 19 MDR S. enterica isolates, that are resistant to at least 3 antibiotics, from zoonotic animals in order to understand how MDR strains emerge.
The genome sequence of the Escherichia coli isolate was obtained using Illumina sequencing by synthesis technology. Genomes were assembled with shovill/SPAdes.
