Bacterial community dynamics involved in 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin biodegradation from herbicides and dioxin contaminated soil in Vietnam

In this study, we investigated the influence of different bacterial communities from 2 different herbicides and dioxin-contaminated soil collected from Bien Hoa airbase on the capability of 2,3,7,8- tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD). The dynamic of the bacterial community structures and diversity during the biodegradation was observed by 16s rRNA gene amplicon sequencing. The bacterial communities from both polluted soils removed TCDD with different performances depending on the cultural conditions.
