资源简介:
This dataset offers a collection of atmospheric measurements from the FINO1 weather mast in the North Sea. It uses three sonic anemometers placed at heights of 41, 61, and 81 meters above Lowest Astronomical Tide (LAT), covering the period from February 1, 2006, to December 31, 2008. The data includes observations of wind speed, wind direction, Obukhov length, friction velocity, scaling temperature, momentum flux, sensible heat flux, sonic temperature, and turbulence intensity.
The quality of the flux data was assessed during processing using EddyPro v7.0.9, and the quality of the wind speed and wind direction data was checked against verified data from the BSH InSitu Portal. The wind component mean and standard deviation are also available, obtained from the raw data by rotating the wind vector to the main wind direction.
Additionally, the direct output from EddyPro, which was used to process the data, is available along with the software configuration.
Acknowledgments: We would like to thank Dr. Beatriz Cañadillas (Project lead for meteorological measurement at FINO1, TU Braunschweig) for her help in obtaining access to the high-frequency raw data and information about the measurement system, along with Martin Moritz (Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency) and Jan Niklas Sick (Operational FINO1 Mast lead, Fachhochschule Kiel GmbH).
This dataset was created for the EU/HEU WILLOW project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 1011122184.
According to the "General Terms and Conditions for Data Use from the Sea State Portal" §3.3, the following mention should be associated with any publications:
"These data were collected and made freely available by the BSH marine environmental monitoring network (MARNET), the RAVE project (www.rave-offshore.de), the FINO project (www.fino-offshore.de), and cooperation partners of the BSH. The sea state portal was realized by the RAVE project (Research at alpha ventus), which was funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action on the basis of a resolution of the German Bundestag."
According to "General terms and conditions for data use of FINO" §3.4, the following mention should be associated with any publications:
"Data was made available by the FINO (Forschungsplattformen in Nord- und Ostsee) initiative, which was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) on the basis of a decision by the German Bundestag, organised by the Projekttraeger Juelich (PTJ) and coordinated by the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH)"
