In order to systematically explore the mechanism of the longan pericarp browning, we analysed the transcriptomics data, and identified the flavonoid and phenylpropanoid metabolic pathways as the most important pathways regarding the pericarp browning. Our results establish an extended understanding for the mechanism of longan pericarp browning, which could serve reference for dry fruit pericarp browning.
