Occurrence and lineage data for Pelophylax epeiroticus and P. shqipericus (Papežík et al. 2025)

This dataset contains occurrence records and lineage affiliation data used in the analyses presented in Papežík et al. (2025, submitted to Diversity and Distributions: “Climatic niche differentiation and future vulnerability of two Balkan endemic water frogs”). Occurrence data were compiled from Papežík et al. (2023) and Ljubisavljević et al. (2023) and processed through spatial thinning to reduce sampling bias. Mitochondrial lineage assignments were retrieved from Papežík et al. (2023, 2025).
