资源简介:
Chotiner's Ravenna Theater, Los Angeles, circa 1925. A photo of the front of Chotiner's Ravenna Theater. The theater was constructed as a Spanish Colonial Revival with many designed carved into the facade and a clay tile roof. The theater is two stories, with 7 windows visible on the second floor. There is a large window and three doors, not including the entrance, on the first floor. In the bottom floor window and next to one of the doors is a large vase with flowers. There is a sandwich board on either side of the entrance. Once is advertising the Angel City Quartette and the other is advertising Babe Egan's Ravenna Redheads. When looking in the entrance, there are posters in glass displays on the right as well as a single ticket booth in the center. The marquee above the entrance advertises James Oliver Curwood's "Baree Son of Kazan", the Angel City Quartette, and Ravenna Redhead Band. The left of the marquee advertises Babe Egan's Ravenna Redheads. On the roof of the theater is a sign reading "Chotiner's Ravenna." The reverse, in pencil, gives the address, 233 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, California, USA. There appears to be a white substance, possible white out, on the bottom left edge of this photo, as well as the smearing of the black border, also on the bottom left of the photo. There is also minor abrasion damage, but other wise in good condition.
