This study analyzes a novel waste-reducing technology: a natural coating to maintain fresh produce longer. We measure the willingness to pay (WTP) for the natural coating on bananas and tomatoes and evaluate the influence of information on the coating’s effectiveness. We used this dataset to calculate the WTP for the natural coating on bananas and tomatoes.
