资源简介:
Part I: Argentinian President Hector Cámpora unexpectedly resigned, allowing former leader Juan Perón to return to power amid political turmoil and economic crisis. While Perón's ideology, "Justicialismo," remains vaguely defined, tensions between authoritarian and populist elements within his movement continue to grow. In Córdoba, labor unrest and left-wing militancy persist, challenging Perón’s efforts to maintain unity and control. Meanwhile, in Chile, workers took over factories following a failed coup attempt, and in Uruguay, government repression against labor leaders has intensified following a military-backed coup. Part II: Cuban President Osvaldo Dorticós emphasizes Che Guevara’s lasting revolutionary influence, Cuba’s economic resilience through Soviet support, and the need for the U.S. to lift its blockade before any dialogue. He highlights Cuba’s economic growth since 1970, crediting better organization, worker participation, and a balance between revolutionary ideals and material incentives. Files include CSVs of the annotated transcriptions and lists of places, people, organizations, subjects, and media sources mentioned in the radio program.
