VPRS 19729 Fund Raising Meetings Minutes

This series comprises volumes recording the minutes of fund raising meetings at the Kingston Centre (VA 1278). The meetings were held monthly. The Fund Raising Committee was to consist of at least two Board Members (one of whom would chair the meeting) together with such members of staff as appointed by the Board. A quorum would be five members. The Committee was to: (a) receive the Report of the Director of Appeals and Public Relations and approve the Annual Budget (b) recommend to the Board of Management the schedule of projects to be the subject of fund raising (c) receive reports in relation to historical research (d) monitor the progress of donations received against projects (e) monitor the achievements in public relations (f) receive reports on public relations material in the course of their preparation; e.g. video, annual reports, brochures etc. (g) receive reports on expenditure incurred against budget and revise budgets where deemed advisable (h) report to the Board of Management on Appeal and Public Relations matters, and (i) meet at least ten times each year at such time and place as was determined.
