20 midguts from mated females of untreated (UT) and early injured (EI) flies aged 12 and 16 days were dissected in 1x sterile PBS solution and commensal genomic DNA was extracted using the TIANamp Genomic DNA Kit (TIANGEN Biotech, Cat# DP304-02). The 16s rDNA sequencing library construction and sequencing process were performed by Majorbio Bio-Pharm Technology Co. Ltd (Shanghai, China) (https://www.majorbio.com/).
Four samples (1,2,3,4) of each group were tested independently.
A12S represents the gut microbiota composition of the UT group (with 5% sucrose) on day 12.
A12B represents the gut microbiota composition of the EI group (with Bleomycin) on day 12.
A16S represents the gut microbiota composition of the UT group (with 5% sucrose) on day 16.
A16B represents the gut microbiota composition of the EI group (with Bleomycin) on day 16.
