Naive CD4 T cells from aged mice exhibit an altered transcriptional signature CD4 T cells from the peripheral lymph-nodes of young ( 3-month-old) or aged (33-month-old) C57BL/6-Foxp3GFP mice were first purified by depleting B cells and CD8 T cells. Then, naive CD4 T cells were FACS-sorted as CD44-/low GFP- Lin- cells and mRNAs extracted.
