Phlebotomine Sand Fly Residential Collections in the Metropolitan Region of Aracaju, Brazil (2021–2022)

This dataset contains records from entomological surveys conducted in 32 residences across four municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of Aracaju, Sergipe, Brazil. Phlebotomine sand flies were collected using CDC light traps installed in peridomestic areas during two seasonal campaigns: one in the dry season (September–November 2021) and another in the rainy season (March–April 2022). The dataset includes information on collection dates, location, vegetation type, presence of animal shelters, and sex/species identification of captured individuals.
