This dataset contains influence functions used in the manuscript "Using Tower-based Observational Networks to Assess the Impact of COVID-19 Lockdowns on Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Six North American Cities" (Barkley et. al., in review). The influence functions were produced at hourly resolution from February to April 2017-2020 for observational tower cites in six North American Cities: Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Indianapolis, Boston, Toronto, and the Baltimore/D.C. Northeast Corridor. Further details on the influence functions can be found in the README.txt file. From the influence functions, model CO2 and CH4 enhancements were generated to compare to observations and evaluate the change in emissions during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
