Two farms were visited on multiple occasions and faecal samples obtained from calves. On each farm a separate cohort of 10 calves were sampled multiple times from about 24 hours post-partum through to about 7 weeks of age. Multiple STEC O157 isolates were obtained which underwent WGS analysis.
