Short read sequencing of Anopheles samples do not easily assemble. In this study, we are testing the 10x chemistry to assess whether larger scaffolds are possible, and whether haplotypes are resolved. We are also exploring standard sequencing of highly degraded samples to determine the quality of the genomes we can produce from difficult samples. Samples will have DNA extractions done in different ways, and some will be subjected to whole genome amplification. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
